The
domain probably has some value so the moment it has expired GoDaddy has
probably registered it and now they are preparing or are already
auctioning it so you probably could look there but it won’t we the same
price like for a newly registered domain name, it will be a fair bit
higher.
Having the example that the registrar was GoDaddu, visit GoDaddy Auctions and see if name is being auctioned off, before being released back to general pool.
Try to put in a backorder for the name. Automated tools that monitor the domain name will try to buy it on your behalf at the exact moment the name gets released back.
Eventually if the domain name has that much value, get it thrugh Auctions as a safer bet. Also anyone else can put in the backorder or purchase it during the auction and beat you out of the drop. When the name has value, most likely you will have some competition.
